From High School to University: Thank You for Your Ongoing Support, Patrick's Kids Foundation (PKF)!

My name is Dieumaître Maignan, a 20-year-old rising junior pursuing my degree in Educational Science at the University of Public Du Sud, Aux Cayes, Haiti.

Since 2020, I have been part of an organization called PKF, which has been a cornerstone in my life. They support and guidance have been instrumental in my journey, shaping me into the person I am today. From helping me complete my High School career to providing resources for my success, they role were invaluable. I am deeply grateful for the positive impact PKF has had on my life and the lives of many others, and I am proud to be a part of this community.

Today, I express my deep gratitude for the profound impact PKF support has had on my academic journey. PKF’s invaluable help has been the key to overcoming many obstacles and starting to achieve my goals. The organization’s generosity and commitment to students like me make a real difference. I am profoundly grateful for the impact of PKF’s support on my academic journey. Their unwavering assistance has enabled me to overcome challenges and work toward my dreams. I sincerely thank PKF and its supporters for their belief in me. Your help has facilitated my academic journey and strengthened my determination to succeed and contribute positively to society.

Additionally, I would like to share my experience during my first year at university. The first year has been full of discoveries, challenges, and unforgettable moments. I had to adapt to a new environment, get acquainted with an unfamiliar campus, and create new relationships. The first few days were confusing, but I quickly found my bearings. Academically, I discovered exciting subjects and inspiring teachers. I also learned to manage my time and be more independent in my studies. Class discussions allowed me to develop critical thinking and new skills. Beyond studies, student life has been rich in activities and encounters. I joined several clubs and associations, which allowed me to meet people with similar interests.

Overall, the first year has been challenging. Being away from my family and friends has been difficult at times. I had to learn to deal with loneliness and find solutions on my own. But these challenges, as tough as they were, have made me stronger and more resilient. They have taught me valuable life lessons and have prepared me for the future. My journey can inspire others to face their challenges with courage and determination, a testament to the strength and resilience that your support has helped me build.

In short, I am filled with anticipation for what the next few years have in store for me. With your continued support, I am eager to continue growing and learning in this academic adventure. I am confident that I will be able to achieve even more, and I look forward to sharing my future successes with you.
