Patrick’s Kids Foundation Summer Internship Program
Patrick’s Kids Foundation (PKF) is partnering with Haiti Projects (HP) and Health Equity International (HEI) (formerly Saint Boniface Hospital) to provide summer internship opportunities to deserving youths in Fond-des-Blancs, Haiti.
The Internship Program intends to be a form of experiential learning that integrates knowledge and theory, with practical application and skills development in a professional setting, giving kids the opportunity to have meaningful work experience in various industries and maximize their potential.
The Program
Starting on July 11, 2022, twelve Haitian students will start their internships for 3 days a week for 6 weeks.
This program has been running for two years. Although it was paused for 2021 during the pandemic, we are very excited to have it start back up again.
The Scholars
We want to empower the next generation, and each scholar goes through a rigorous and detailed yearly review for the internship, including: Community involvement and GPA.
These PKF Scholars have demonstrated a high level of intellect, stellar work ethic, and a desire to learn and excel.
